Coach Brockhoff has over 40+ years of teaching baseball hitting drills and working with college, youth, and high school baseball players age 5+. Coach Brockhoff offers baseball hitting instruction on a daily basis at his hitting cage right outside of New Orleans, LA. His base for instruction locally is at a facility called “The Sandlot”  in Madisonville, LA.  It is a very nice indoor facility about 45 minutes drive from Armstrong International Airport. The address is 610 Deer Cross Ct. East, Madisonville, LA 70047. This is about 10 miles from the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, which connects Metairie, and the communities on the other side of the lake.  Coach Brockhoff could work out a one-day 5-hour session, separated by lunch, or two days (4 hours each day). The first 2 hours will include a hitting video analysis for your son followed by instruction and drills. The rest of the day is composed of drills and practice to implement the techniques. If you decide to return for a second day, he would begin the second day with a continuation of the drills followed by another short video analysis to determine if the adjustments and drills were making an impact on their strokes. The last session will be a final batting practice session. Coach Brockhoff will make recommendations for a practice schedule for you to take home with you (or sent to you). Thereafter, we encourage you to keep in touch with Coach during the following month by way of email with short flash video clips for him to review.   This is included in the cost of the lesson.  It is necessary that the players have access to The Super 8 Hitting System 8 DVD package www.learnbaseballhitting.com/super8 so that they may continue to work on the drills that are included in the package. The Cost for One day Hitting Instruction for a single player is $500. Two days is $800. We would include a second player for an additional $100. We take all major credit cards.    There are ample hotels within 5 miles near The Sandlot, or if you wish you could stay near the airport, in Kenner (south of the Lake). And of course, Metairie and New Orleans have an abundance, depending on your preference.
